ILLUSTRATION NE 2011 EXHIBITION

Tuesday 2nd - 25th August 2011
An exhibition featuring some of the most exciting and talented illustrators from the North East. A showcase of both traditional and digital illustration under one roof it’s a show not to be missed! All work is for sale between £10 -£50 and a percentage of the sales go towards funding other art projects within the Gateshead area.

Exhibition Launch Party
Monday 1st August 2011 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Join us for the launch of the show there will be complementary food & drinks available, tasty sweet treats from Poor Girl’s Kitchen and all of the artist will be there for you to chat with. There will also be the opening of our POP UP ART SHOP where all the artists are selling their wares including prints, greeting cards, T-shirts, badges, jewellery etc. So come along for great art, drinks, food and conversation.

I will be taking part this year along side some very talented people so make sure your all there =]

I'd also like to point you all in the direction of illustration bandits

They're a new collection of illustrators mainly from the northeast UK.
There will also be a magazine accompanying the bandits that showcases a selection of their work and interviews with some of the artists themselves.
